Although services may be selected from the itemized
portion of the
General Price List
the following list may help you select the appropriate
arrangements.
Traditional Service
A traditional service for burial, entombment or cremation,
is usually the service of choice. At Hann Funeral
Home we believe in the traditional funeral, because
it best serves the needs of family and friends.
The traditional funeral service may include the following:
• Casket
• Transfer of the deceased to the funeral
home
• Embalming
• Dressing, cosmetology and other care of
the deceased
• Professional support and administrative
staff assistance
• Use of visitation rooms
• General use of the facilities for the service
and arrangements
• Funeral service
• Use of funeral coach
• Limousine
• Utility car
• Register book
• Acknowledgment cards
• Memorial folders or prayer cards
The traditional service is a meaningful expression
for the family, and it gives friends and associates
an opportunity to offer their tributes in the way
of flowers or memorials to churches or organizations.
Generally, a member of the clergy or other person
chosen by the family conducts a service of remembrance.
We encourage the active participation of the family
in helping plan this part of the service. Many times
family members take part by giving a reading, singing
or assisting the clergy.

Cremation Services
With cremation services is selected, a loved one's
ashes may be placed in an urn and taken to a final
resting place such as a family plot, urn garden, columbarium
or a family member's home.
Sometimes cremated remains are divided into several
urns. This option works well when family members live
in locations across the country.
Others choose to have their ashes scattered in a special
cemetery garden or over land or water (where permitted
by law). In this case, a portion of the cremated remains
is usually kept in a keepsake urn as a remembrance.
If you choose cremation, a funeral service is appropriate,
and recommended. Survivors still need the time and
setting to grieve. We offer many types of services
specifically for cremations, from direct cremation
with no casket present, to traditional cremation with
a visitation, procession and memorial service. The
choice is yours.
Additional Services
Personalization Services are available
for all arrangement types. We believe that personalizing
one’s funeral creates lasting memories. Each
family is unique and the celebration of one’s
life should also be unique. We offer many ideas
when
it comes to personalization, and there are no limits.

Pre-arrangement services
Pre-arrangement services
When pre-planning a funeral, all of your thoughts
and wishes are planned for. Because you have worked
directly with the funeral home, your family will
know EXACTLY what you desire. At Hann Funeral Home,
once your decisions are made, we'll help you put
it in writing. This will ultimately help avoid
questions or potential family disputes. Your loved
ones won't ask: "Did we do the right thing?
Did we forget anything? Is this what she/he wanted?
Did we spend too much?" All that is eliminated
because you put it in writing.
Since 1960, the number of pre-planned funerals has
increased by 1000%. Why such a dramatic increase
in Pre-Planned Funerals?
Because pre-planning guarantees:
• Your wishes will be fulfilled.
• You can spare your loved ones any unnecessary
financial burden.
Pre-planning also allows you to involve your loved
ones as you make your plans. In return, this can
save the people you care about most from the emotional
turmoil and burdensome decisions that an unplanned
funeral can often bring.
Additionally, by making the decision to pre-fund
now, you will lock in the cost of your funeral at
today's prices, even if you live for another 50 years.
When you pre-arrange and pre-fund, you can be assured
that definite arrangements have been made and no
other financial decisions need to be faced. A national
financial institution, Homesteaders
Insurance Company,
holds your funds in a special contract tailored to
your specific wishes. Pre-funding guarantees the
cost will remain constant, regardless of inflation.
This money is yours and is fully transferable from
one funeral home to another. To see if your funds
can be transferred to Hann Funeral Home, contact
